Flexible Outbound & Free Incoming Email: You can choose to use our Amazon SES routing or bring-your-own SMTP (SendGrid, Mailgun, etc.) for high-deliverability transactional mail. Plus, get free incoming email hosting for up to 3 webmail accounts.
Scalable Growth & Disk Expansion: Your base includes storage and managed email sending limits as listed in the package tiers below. You may upgrade your tier smoothly at any time. Or expand your storage anytime in 5 GB NVMe bundles for just $6.25/mo. Additional email sending capacity is available on demand at $7.00 per 50,000 emails.
Enterprise Infrastructure: We take hosting very seriously. You receive high-performance NVMe SSD storage, daily site backups, hourly database backups, and custom email delivery integrations.

HostMyTE provides a semi-managed exchange platform. We maintain the engine and server environment while giving you full administrative ownership over your business and data.

Exchange Operations: Setting surf ratios, timer delays, credit pricing, ad conversion rates, and promos.

💾 Database Ownership & Core Agreement

Core License: Core script engine remains HostMyTE proprietary software licensed for your active hosting use.
HMT member: By default, we are hardcoded as your member 2 and receive 0.02 credit for each page surfed. To protect your script privacy, the HostMyTE website is not advertised on your exchange. You may disable this at any time for a $25 fee.

Owner Domain Purchasing: Exchange owners register their custom domain name through any preferred registrar.

🚀 Beginner Guide: Getting Started with HostMyTE

Follow these 7 steps to deploy, configure, and launch your private Traffic Exchange platform.

Select a Package & Create Your Owner ID: Choose a plan (Small, Medium, or Large) on our homepage and fill out your Owner Admin credentials during checkout.
Complete Setup & Subscription via PayPal: Process your initial payment and recurring subscription via PayPal.
Register Domain & Update A-Record: Purchase your exchange domain name and point its primary DNS A Record to our primary server IP address (emailed to you immediately following checkout confirmation).
Server Provisioning Window (Up to 12 Hours): Our system and engineering team will provision your dedicated web environment, MySQL database, and isolate your public_html workspace.
Configure your email MX records: Add our email IP address as an MX record with your domain DNS. If using our managed Amazon SES also add the TXT, DKIM, and SPF records sent in your welcome email to your domain DNS.
Configure Exchange Rules & Monetization: Log into your exchange's internal admin panel (URL sent in your welcome email) to set surf timers, credit ratios, anti-cheat puzzle lockouts, team prizes, and PayPal IPN payment gateway keys.
Customize Branding & HTML Headers/Footers: Upload your branding, edit HTML/CSS via SFTP, or update custom header and footer code directly inside your exchange admin panel.

Email Configuration Guide

Understanding how incoming and outgoing mail is processed on your exchange.

Important Security Policy: We do not send out email directly from our traffic exchange servers for security reasons. Outbound email is routed through a dedicated SMTP provider.

📤 Outbound Email Setup (Transactional Mail)

To guarantee high deliverability for your welcome emails, password resets, admin notices, and exchange updates, we strongly prefer and recommend using Amazon SES due to their highly reliable infrastructure and very reasonable fees. Exchange owners have two options for managing this outbound flow:

⚙️ Option 1: Managed by HostMyTE

Monthly Limits Apply: If we manage the Amazon SES account on your behalf, the monthly email send limit listed on your chosen package tier will apply.
Setup Time: We require 24 hours notice to properly configure and provision the SES routing for your domain.
DNS Requirements: Exchange owners must manually update their domain's DNS settings (TXT, CNAME, etc.) using the exact verification records we provide to you.
Payment: The cost is already covered as part of your subscription with us.

🔧 Option 2: Self-Managed SMTP

Bring Your Own Provider: You are not required to use Amazon SES; you may use any third-party SMTP provider (SendGrid, Mailgun, Brevo, etc.).
Control Panel Integration: You will input your custom Outbound SMTP settings directly into your Exchange Admin Control Panel.
Required Details: Simply provide your SMTP Host, Port, Username, and Password in the admin settings, and the exchange engine will route mail through your account.
Payment: You pay your SMTP provider directly.

📥 Incoming Email Services

We provide incoming email hosting for your domain at no additional charge. To keep our core infrastructure secure, incoming email is hosted on a completely separate, dedicated mail server that we actively manage.

DNS MX Records: If you wish to use our incoming mail service, you are responsible for updating your MX records at your Domain Name provider to point to our designated mail server IP address.
Email Accounts: We will create up to 3 incoming email addresses for your domain, though typically only 1 (e.g., support@yourdomain.com) is recommended.
Webmail Access: Incoming email is easily managed through a secure, web-based email client.
Limited Outgoing Replies: While this server is primarily for incoming mail, we do allow limited outgoing mail from these addresses so you can reply to support tickets. This is strictly capped at a 20 email per hour limit to protect server reputation.
